This Confirmation program, called Discovery, is prepared by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and adapted for use by the Anglican Parish of Woodstock.

Discovery 1: Your Spiritual Journey

Welcome to your At Home Confirmation Program:  Discovery!  This program was prepared by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and adapted for use in the Anglican Parish of Woodstock. 

Each week you will be asked to watch a video and answer accompanying questions in your Participant's Guide here.

Discovery 2: The Holy Trinity

What do Christians believe?  What do you know about the Holy Trinity?  Watch the video to find out more about who God is, about His love for you, and think about your relationship with Him.

Discovery 3: The Holy Bible

What do you know about the Holy Bible?

How does God speak to you?  Do you know God can speak to you through His Holy Word?  What is your favorite passage in the Bible?  What meaning does it hold for you.  Does it encourage you?  comfort you?  inspire you?

Discovery 4: The Great Commandment and the Great Commission

What is God calling you to do?

Did you know that Jesus combined the ten commandments into two?  And he gave us the great commission.  What is your mission?  What is God's purpose for your life?  Those are questions to consider as you watch this video.  Then refer to your Participant's Guide for Discovery 4, or click here.

Discovery 5: What We Believe

The Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed

What we believe as Christians is contained in the Creeds. A creed is a statement of faith.

As you think about your faith, consider: How has God transformed or changed your life? Where do you see the kingdom of God?

What does it means to be baptized?

Are you baptized? What promises do we make in the baptismal covenant?
