Duties of Greeters
Interested in being a Greeter? Phone the office at 506-328-4304

1.  Be on hand at least 30 mintues before service.  It is imperative that all greeters be present.

2.  Switch on lights.

3.  Ring bell for five minutes 30 minutes before and again 5 minutes before the service begins.

4.  Change all hymn boards so that hymn numbers correspond with those in the bulletin.

5.  Greet people with a cheerful smile and friendly greeting as they enter, hand out books and bulletins.  Ask visitors to sign the guest book, and alert the Rector to any vistors or new families - prior to the service if possible, so that they can be welcomed!

6.  Get an accurate count of number present, including the choir, clergy, and children, and see that the count is entered in the Vestry Book.

7.  Take up offering and bring to chancel steps, remain there until the offering has been presented at the altar.

8.  After service, gather up old bulletins and place in recycle bin.  Tidy up books, etc. 

9.  Switch off lights and make certain all doors are locked.

10.  Any other duties as may be required.

Note:  If you are not able to be present on your scheduled day, please find your own replacement.

Thermostat is automatic, please do not change control.
