Two Ways to Help Support Ukraine
1. Donate through Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) on-line at https://pwrdf.org/give-today/
To donate to PWRDF by phone, call Donor Relations Officer Mike Ziemerink at 416-822-9083 or leave a voicemail at 1-(866) 308-7973 if you need assistance. You may also mail a cheque to PWRDF at 80 Hayden Street, 3rd Floor, Toronto, ON, M4Y 3G2.
Or
2. The Ukrainian Community of Fredericton is actively seeking donations of medical supplies to ship to Ukraine. In Fredericton, they have partnered with Journey Church, who is providing a collection/drop-off point.
St. Paul's Presbyterian Church is also a collection point for the Woodstock area for much needed medical supplies. See List of Medical Supplies Requested by clicking on the download below.
(Note: they do not need masks as they have an abundance of those already.)
Items can be dropped off at St. Paul's (113 Victoria Street) during the times listed below or at Avis Golding's house (2266 Route 165, Tel: 328-8991).
Drop-off Hours at St. Paul’s:
Tuesdays 12 - 4 p.m.
Wednesdays 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Thursdays 12 - 4 p.m.
Sundays 12 - 2 p.m.
We aim to keep these hours for the next couple of weeks (March 13 – 27) and will let you know if any changes arise based on demand/need. My understanding is that these collection efforts in Fredericton will continue for the time being as need and willingness to give exists.
Alternatively, you may make a cash or cheque donation for medical supplies, which St. Paul's could purchase on their behalf (some people may not do online purchases, plus cash donations may enable us to pool donations together to purchase some of the more expensive items).

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-3
