The Town of Woodstock will be joining other communities and government agencies in observing September 30, 2021 as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This day will afford the opportunity for all of us to recognize and reflect on the history and ongoing legacy of residential schools.

You are encouraged to take a moment on this day to honor the survivors, families and communities who continue to be affected by this tragic period in our history and consider what we each can do to help advance reconciliation with the Indigenous Community.
