Lenten Self-Denial – 40 Days 40 Items for the Foodbank

Lent is a forty-day period of self-denial, fasting, and prayer in preparation for Easter.

As an act of sacrifice, consider donating one food or toiletry item every day for 40 days and bring it to the church on Palm Sunday, April 10, for delivery to the Valley Foodbank. 

No matter how small or big, the Lord will honor our giving.

Thank you to Janis Richard for this idea and for offering to deliver the items to the foodbank during Holy week, in time for Easter.
