Here is a great idea for the season of Advent. This is a wonderful way of supporting our local Foodbank and the folks in our community who are struggling to put food on their tables, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic!
The Valley Foodbank will be providing Christmas Hampers Dec. 7-23, so they would like to have donated food items prior to Dec. 7. You may bring your items to St. Luke's Church on Sunday, Dec. 6th, and we will deliver them. Or you may deliver your food donations directly to the Valley Foodbank by Dec. 7, 2020!
To purchase all of these item would cost approximately $45
God bless you as you reach out to help others!
Original suggestion: Each day add an item to a box. On Christmas Eve donate the contents to a Foodbank.
